Céline was the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Awards at the Billboard Music Awards. Her son, René-Charles, was the one who presented the award to her. This was a sweet moment between father and son, and René caused a bit of an uproar on social media as a result of his looks and demeanor. René’s idea for the Las Vegas show was very well-received, and it ended up coming into form as a spectacular show, complete with Cirque du Soleil acrobats and athletes, which Céline eventually performed over 700 times over several years. She must have incredible patience and stamina to pull off such a feat, while making it an incredible performance every single time for her fans.
