The bowl cut, alternatively named the mushroom cut, consists of a short, symmetrical style in the shape of a bowl. It hit its peak in the 1990s with most of its wearers being celebrities. The popularity dwindled during the mid 2000s after being associated with a hate group. Today, it is making its comeback, shown off by celebrities once more, mostly women. The cut in the photo is a bit higher than the usual, and the bands definitely add an aesthetic vibe.

The photo looks just as the title suggests, like a surfer crossed paths with a hobo, and their hair became intertwined. The beard is visibly unkempt and looks unwashed. It is not the style that many would seek out in a barbershop in an attempt to look like a favorite celebrity. It’s a good thing he is an amazing actor.
