Yvonne Craig became quite well known for her appearance as Batgirl, so much so that she actually showed up to her interview on The Merv Griffin Show in 1967 decked out in her full costume. She didn’t break character and spoke out about women’s rights, emphasizing equal pay, while on the show. She has always used her platform to speak out on the issue.
