The squad took this time to educate people about animals, and to inform them they have all kinds of options if they ever find themselves in this situation. Instead of dumping animals and leaving them for dead, other people are more than happy to care for them instead.

In many cases, people are too ashamed to take their animals to humane societies, so they dump them in rural locations.
